Major natural gas player Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) has hiked prices of compressed natural gas (CNG) in Delhi-NCR from today.
The Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) has increased compressed natural gas (CNG) prices in Delhi-NCR from today (Saturday). The Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has increased CNG prices in Delhi from Rs 78.61 per kg to Rs 79.56 per kg.
In Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, the prices have been increased from Rs 81.17 per kg to Rs.82.12 per kg. The CNG prices in Gurugram will now be at Rs 87.89 per kg.
The prices of CNG were earlier hiked in October ahead of Diwali.
EFFECTS OF PRICE HIKE
As prices of clean gas have gone up, cab service providers, such as Ola and Uber are also going to charge more. Those who travel by auto every day will also have to bear the brunt. As the cost of transport will increase, there will be a jump in the price of fruits and vegetables.
